Perry house in Mossy 1940-1941

A picture of my family's house on Mossy, when I was about 5 years old.  My father, Ashworth Perry, was a coal miner, and worked about 43 years in the mines. This picture was taken around 1940/1941.  As the picture shows, the house was located on the side of a mountain.  I lived in this house until my senior year of high school.  We then moved to Oak Hill, but I still finished my education at Kingston High School.  In this picture, I am sitting next to my dog Spot, and my niece Wanda Faye Perry, ( my brother Jr. Perry's, daughter).  In the background, from left to right, my sister Betty Ann, my sister, Dorothy Jane, and my mother Jewell.  ( By the look on Spots face, I'm not sure he wanted his picture taken.)"
